I think he gets a lot of love. However, to the extent he doesn't get enough it could be because Alabama has become spoiled with RBs lately and Yeldon kind of just comes across as the next one if you know what I mean.
Ingram won a Heisman, Richardson broke Alabama records, Lacy continued the string, now Yeldon is the "next one."
On the flip side, McCarron is probably the best QB Alabama has ever had (at least in the relatively modern era), so he is getting a lot more attention and credit right now. If you compare McCarron to McElroy, JPW, Pennington, Croyle, Watts, Zow, etc. and he kind of stands out. He is not perceived as just "the next one."
