He is still the 5th WR on nearly every major draft board behind Lee, Watkins, Evans and Matthews. People keep saying his stock has fallen this year but it's really not. He's playing with 10x the talent around him this year than he ever has, his numbers are going to dip.

The biggest question with MONCRIEF has always been his knack for disappearing at times and that hasn't changed. He's still a NFL sized receiver with good speed and hands and elusiveness. Like Todd Mcshay said, he's not excellent at anything but he's very very good at everything.

I think if he thinks he's got a shot to go high second round then he's gone. Having a child changes your priorities.

Most draft boards I've seen have him going in the top 5-10 picks of the second round. Is that high enough? Only Donte will know and he will make the right decision for him.

Eta: Also who knows what could happen at the combine.

Landry and ODB jr could both move ahead of him at the combine as well... I'd take Landry's hands over Donte's any day of the week.
