And that's why he really doesn't need to pay another position, because with him it's not about pride. If he can't play QB, Tebow will walk away and be perfectly happy and at peace. He's wise enough to not put his body through the long term damage that usually comes with playing in the NFL for an extended period of time unless it's doing something he truly loves. He doesn't need NFL money or fame to be happy.

He may not "need" it, but he sure as hell has been trying his best to land somewhere in the NFL as a quarterback. I can't speak for his wisdom, or lack thereof, but he hasn't just walked away from the game and tested out alternative life journeys thus far.
