Tebow had lots of flaws, and was terribly annoying in ways that made me want to get him better eye-liner, but I never really thought of him as overly "cocky." He needs to stop being too proud to play a position other than quarterback, true, but he didn't really have the arrogant swagger I tend to associate with "cocky" athletes.

YMMV, of course.

That with a good enough team any QB can win.

And that's why he really doesn't need to pay another position, because with him it's not about pride. If he can't play QB, Tebow will walk away and be perfectly happy and at peace. He's wise enough to not put his body through the long term damage that usually comes with playing in the NFL for an extended period of time unless it's doing something he truly loves. He doesn't need NFL money or fame to be happy.
