Well, supposedly it's 2 future scholly's for everyone you oversign for. We can get away with signing 30 due to backcounting EE's but any more than that will be a penalty. We will likely only have room for 20-22 next year so the penalty wouldn't really affect us. I wouldn't be surprised if we signed 32 or 33 in the end, while greyshirting Paulk and cutting loose a few others.

Losing 2 scholarships to sign 1 more recruit is stiff. If you think about it, you also gave that oversign recruit 1 of the scholarships you had, so to actually sign him costs the school 3 scholarships.

If Butch starts calling guys a week before NSD and pulling offers, it's going to end in a shite storm that he doesn't want. Pissed off HS HC's will close their school's doors to his recruiters.
