Even if he is found innocent but there is some incident and this isn't just smoke, I think the heisman is gone.

IMO he is the clear front runner. If this happens, JFF will win his 2nd.

I would think this would solidify his legacy as one of the best ever.

Not so sure. Mariota still in the race, IMO. Voters tend to look heavily on the stats, and they are tired of JManziel.

McCarron's had a solid year so I'd say he should be tied with Manziel

We have established the OP is an A&M alter based on the few threads he started, right?

I think if you look at past winners there's an unwritten rule among voters to factor in character.

How much it factors in varies from voter to voter but it's there.

Unless someone comes up with a Winston autograph or proof that he skipped out early on Archie's QB school, or was a member of a team that won multiple MNC's, Manziel doesn't have a chance.

After all, aren't those the main considerations of the Heisman?

It's gonna be all over the news by the time the NC game rolls around. Watch.

People are really looking past Mett's candidacy. He has the second highest QB rating in the SEC. Only Manziel has a higher rating, and nobody wants to vote for that douche. Also, Connor Shaw has only thrown one interception all year, and has his team poised to probably win the East. So, really, it's either Mett or Shaw.
