LSU currently has the second longest active streak of being ranked in the AP poll (76 straight polls).
A loss to A&M will almost certainly end their streak.
Currently active streaks:
Alabama 93
LSU 76
Oregon 72
Oklahoma 60
South Carolina 59
Stanford 59

Longest ever consecutive streak ranked in the AP poll:
Nebraska, 348 weeks, 1981-2002
I don't think that will ever be broken. That's is simply incredible and no other team as even come close.

We got pretty close to losing ours earlier. After losing to UT we fell to #23. Luckily we had Mizzou the following week.

I have faith that LSU shall remain a member of the Big 3.
