It's not crazy at all, I've watched a few science shows when drunk before that talks about this sort of thing. It's easy to say "omg yeah right I totally would've seen that!!!", and if you went into the video expecting trickery you would have. But, when your brain is so laser-like, precision focused on one task, it blocks out other stimuli. And, it's not like the bear was in a where's waldo costume. All your brain is doing is watching the people in white, and completely shutting out the people in black. A guy in a black suit wasn't worth your brain paying attention to.
