Holy fricking shite. Can you read? I never said JFF was nothing but luck. For the millionth time: that one catch was lucky. That's it.

Fact: Manziel eats three bowls of Lucky Charms for breakfast on game days.

I'm just going to chalk it up to a difference of opinion.
I see that play as the result of well-honed, unbelievable athletic skill, un-coachable moxie, and a QB's complete confidence in his teammates.
You characterize it as luck.
Different strokes, I guess.
And at the end of a JFF play, I'm not too concerned about the "means" justifying the "ends"--I'm usually just grinnin' ear to ear.

FWIW I mostly agree. That was incredibly lucky. At the same time, though, luck is often on your side when you have a 6'4" and 6'5" receiver, both of whom can jump and are much taller than the DBs, in the area.

Sumlin started to razz him about that pass after the series and JFF said (according to Sumlin), "Hey, as good as a punt." So he was at least thinking.

Honestly I was more impressed with the escape from Pagan than the pass. The play that impressed me more, though, was the perfectly-thrown pass to Evans, Evans' stiff-arm, 95 yards, TD. That was about as close to perfection as I've seen.
