His running stats are not nearly what they were and those interceptions have lost him games.

That said, a competent defense and they are 9-0 plus he is heisman frontrunner

He very much deserves the Heisman IMHO...best player in college football. His play instantly makes A&M competitive with anyone.

I was one of his doubters, but now I've gotta give him his props

This was a surprise to me. I thought he'd crash this year.

greatest qb AM has ever had, and one of the greatest to ever play the game, yet they still can't make it through the SEC undefeated.

Yep, wake me up when one of the other Heisman contenders can do something like this:

Whats soooooooo damn funny about it, is that for us that know Johnny, he is doing everything he did last year, just not tweeting about it, lol

I definitely thought he'd slow down a bit. Other than some horrific interceptions at times, he's obviously a great player. It's hard to coach defense against someone who can extend the play for 10 seconds.

So sad he never had a defense. Imagine the possibilities.

Without Johnny, we would fighting to stay above .500 this season. He is by far the most valuable player in the nation to his team. He shouldn't be penalized for the two losses that were caused by our non-existant defense. If anything, he should be praised even more that he has us in the top 10 despite our inability to stop anything.
