That was my first thought. They've been trying to get the blasted thing into Cobb & Gwinnett for decades, now. It's never been an argument of convenience to get INTO the city, but rather opposition of those who come FROM the city outward. No desire to have the Five Points Station permanent residents take up shop in Marietta.

blame cobb and gwinnett, they dont want it to interfere with their transit system revenue
