in a 3 yr period, way back when..
I was summoned to
Civil once
District twice
Federal once
Got on a jury for District, then plea bargain after 1 witness.
Got on Grand Jury for District, that served one full week in Jan, another in Feb and another in March.
Sat for 4 days on Fed, then dismissed.
Sat for 3 days on Civil, then dismissed.
I was summoned again last yr, but pretty much don't have to do it anymore, as I'm self employeed and can't.

I was called for it a week after I turned 18. It was for some guy facing charges on illegal traps. They pretty much turned away all male jurors that were hunters.
Still wasted a day sitting in a court room though.
Never been called since.
