Oregon has been in the national title talk for the last several years.

Who came closer last year? Oregon or Georgia? And we want to fire our coach.

In 2011, Oregon lost to LSU 40-27, the same team that beat georgia for the SECC 42-10...not much difference there, is there?

In 2010 they lost the NC to Auburn.
In 2009, they lost three games.

So, why do many think Kelly can get the job done? Because he has come close? Richt gets Georgia close and everybody says he has maxed out and can't get Georgia there. Kelly gets a pass.

Hey, I understand. Typically younger fans are fans of wide open offenses that score a lot of points. I used to, too. Kelly brings that to the table. But rarely do championship teams do that. Championship teams usually play good solid defense (something we have not done this year) and play mistake free football. (Something else we have not done this year)

I know, and acknowledge our problems. I am just saying that over the last three years or so, our team has steadily improved. Had we stayed healthy this year we would have one loss (and that easily could have been a victory) and be in the chase for a national Championship.

Again...I have no problem with peoples impatience. I understand that. I am impatient, too. but, as you pointed out, it is very difficult to win a NC. 8 years since we won a conference title? Wow. So, what you are saying is we have lost the conference title to that years National Championship team, right?

I'm not impatient and I'm not a younger fan. I turn 32 in a few months. 8 seasons is a long time not to win the conference.

a 13 point loss vs a 32 point blowout?(a game which we were leading at halftime?) Yea that was quite a difference. Oh yeah, we lost to every ranked team we played 10-4, Oregon went 12-2...

Notice how you kinda gloss over this game? Oregon loses the BCSNCG(something UGA has never been to)by 3 points on the last play of the game... Oh yeah, Auburn beat the shite outta us by 18 points(after we were leading at halftime)...

UGA vs Bama SECCG...UGA had a 11 point lead with 5:32 left in the 3rd qtr...Then we get outscored 22-7 in the last 20 min...

Should I continue?? I can list a litany of implosions over the last 5 years...

I'm one of the lucky ones who've seen us win a NC in person, but I don't think I'll see another one. Maybe y'all will by the time your my age.

I'm not impatient, I attended my 1st UGA game in '64 at the age of 9, I graduated from UGA, I've had season tix for 35 years. I lived thru the shitshow that was Dooleys last 6 years, Goffs 6 years, Donnan's 5 years & Richt's last 13...

Frankly I don't need you or anyone else trying to explain anything to me. All I see is excuse after excuse why Richt can't win the big one & I'm not impressed...

Richt is a good coach, he'll never be a GREAT coach...
