Tidefans - was always the best site for Alabama fans, but most of you script A guys don't like the place.

Free site is Cockytalk.com

The Rivals and 247 sites have a lot of activity as well. Gogamecocks.com used to have a lot of activity, until they changed their model to a subscription base, then cockytalk's membership exploded.

I tend to opt for independent boards because I dislike the formatting of scout/rivals sites. The most popular independent board I've found for us would be Cockytalk but it, like many team-specific sites, is often full of sunshine pumpers and can make for a boring read. Haven't really done the digging but from a cursory glance I think its about as active as our rivals site.

I read a lot of other teams' boards as well. Like BuckeyeFan87 said, I think that BuckeyePlanet is the more popular OSU site.

Still don't understand how fanbases like Mizzou ( Tiger Board ) and Clemson ( TigerNet ) are still using 1990's style boards. It's annoying having to click to read each individual post.

Isn't Tidefans that site that employs former SS Officers living in Argentina as Moderators?

For Tennessee, Volnation is the most popular message board, but it blows. Rockytoptalk.com is the most popular blog, and it's solid.

For Mizzou I would say Mizzou Talk on stltoday.com located in the forums section .
