First of all before anyone bashes me I am not saying Bama is not good. They are very, very good.

My problem is they are overrated. They are being treated like they are this unbeatable monster that everyone should be afraid of yet they lost last year, and the year before, and 3 times the year before that.

Let's examine last year. Bama played 3 really good teams in the regular season (sorry Michigan you don't count).

They scored a last second TD to beat LSU. They lost to A&M on a last second INT. They beat Georgia on a last second "goal line stand/fluke play"

Bama could have easily lost all 3 of those games. They could have easily won all 3 of those games. But the point is Alabama is not light years ahead of the rest of the good teams in CFB. They split with LSU two years ago. Yet the media treats Bama like they are the early 2000s Hurricanes or the 90s Nebraska teams.

Am I way off base here? Thoughts?

All of this is true but why are they still talking about last year? Yeah Bama could have easily lost all 3 of those games but fact is they beat LSU and Georgia you can't change that. I don't see how a team that wins 3 national championships in 4 years could be overrated when that's never happened before. Ohio St is just jealous that they don't get the respect Bama gets so they have to bash Bama using what happened last year. And didn't Ohio St almost lose to Wisconsin and Northwestern? Lol Bama would have blown out both of those teams.
