A town of less than 1k has put out more top flight talent than damn near all of NWA.

Since 2002 seriously? I think your numbers may be off.

Mitch Mustain- UA/USC
Damian Williams- UA/USC- NFL
Bartley Webb- Notre Dame
Ben Cleveland-UA
Zack Pinalto-NC-NFL
Andrew Norman- Louisville-UA-Tulsa
Aston Glaser- Missouri
Alex Tejada- UA- mexicans count

That is just the kids that played on the 05 Springdale team that got D-1 offers. I don't understand how you can say the talent is overrated because of the competition, when the NWA teams play the other teams in non-conference and playoffs.

I seriously doubt Byran Jones lined up agaist 300lb offensive tackles every friday night while he was at JC. Earle,Rison,Bearden,Strong,Hampton,Spring Hill,Wood Lawn,Parkers Chapel,Hermitage and Gurdon are not exactly known for putting players in the SEC or NFL on a yearly basis.

Keep in mind the demographic of NWA is changing.
It is not just mexicans and marshallese, Springdale has recieved it's share of Katrina transplants too.

Mitch Mustain- Bust
Damian Williams- Solid Career at USC
Bartley Webb- Injuries
Ben Cleveland- okay hog
Zack Pinalto- undrafted free agent. Practice squad guy
Andrew Norman- fill in the blank
Aston Glaser- 4th string at Mizzou. Left for Missouri State and started.
Alex Tejada- yea.......

Do you not see that you're proving my point here?

Strong, Bearden, and Junction City pump out some athletes Broseph.....

Petrino didn't offer a freshman all American RB out of Strong two years ago. Junction City will send up their 3rd UA kid in about 4-5 years in next years class and they have a junior RB who will be highly recruited. We signed a kid two years ago from Bearden and then Petrino let a solid DE head out of state to Stillwater.

I may live in NWA, but those poor folks down south can play some football.
