Looks like Arkansas may not have an ally on their side when they are fighting for a top-4 spot in the playoffs in the next few seasons...

You should seek help for your Little Brother Syndrome.
The first step is to admit you have a problem.

I believe Joe Castiglione's name is being tossed around as well.

If he didn't leave for Stanford, why the hell leave for Texas?

I thought they hired Luck last week?

According to the news here in Phoenix, Steve Patterson (ASU) was offered the job by the Board of Regents. He turned it down despite a double in pay because it it will be an impossible situation. The President, of UT, who the Regents want to replace, is recruiting candidates (Long from WVU) and the Regents are offering their own candidates. A huge power struggle is going on.

I seriously doubt he leaves. He even saida week or two ago that he had no intention of leaving anytime soon.
However, it would be extremely interesting to see him be the guy that followed both Frank Broyles and Royal as athletic directors. Two of the most week known and respected AD's in the country.

So if Long did go to the sips, who would be the SEC's representative in the playoff committee. The committee members serve terms, so would we be without and AD from our conference?
