little brother syndrome

When one person feels they have a rivalry with another far superior person. The superior person usually doesn't know about it or feel that the little brother is any kind of a threat. The little brother usually puts forth maximum effort in meaningless situations in order to get the feeling of a win over his rival. LINK

Both have the little bro syndrome in the worst way. They constantly feel they need to beat their chest and try to prove they're not inferior.

But A&M has actually took a step towards distancing themselves from big bro UT by joining the SEC. While aubie is perfectly content being Alabama's little bro. One of their own freely admitted as much in this thread. Some might even say aubie is proud to be Alabama's little bro and they take offense to the notion that LSU has unseated them as being bama's little bro. A&M on the other hand despises being considered UT's little bro.

In this contest there really is no competition, Auburn by far has the bigger little bro syndrome.

At least Auburn fully admits Bama is their big brother. some Aggies don't even want to admit it.

I have customers, one in particular, that literally don't care what the rest of their season looks like as long as they beat Alabama. The one guy in particular literally once told me, "I don't care about national championships. We aren't the caliber of team that is gonna compete for those regularly. Yeah, 2010 was great and I enjoyed it but I'm not dumb enough to think its gonna happen again anytime soon. The Iron Bowl is my national championship. As long as we beat you losers I'm happy"

Can you really be the little brother when:

a. You're older by almost 10 years

and

b. You've left the house and "big brother" is still living at home with mom and dad and all of their illegitimate children

it is pretty funny that you are going off on "little brothers" when you still have a clemson logo for a game that happened 10 months ago that your program wasnt even involved in

Arkansas seems to be the worst about using Alabama leverage to shite talk Auburn. That might make them the littlest of little brothers in their own right.

I've never thought of Auburn as a little brother and I've never cared enough about TAMU to think about it.

I have, however, wondered how in the Hell Arkansas got invited into the SEC.

Kinda like when Arky fans trumpet all time records that largely reflect ancient history in the Southworst Conference as though that matters in the 21st century.

Y'all are playing them this week, so I'll allow it. Carry on.

This describes you perfectly and this thread. You are begging Auburn and A&M for attention at the same time. Your fans and coach have been begging Auburn for attention since the end of last season. Yall can quit we don't want a little brother that whines every time you get something they want.

As for your troll. It would have to be A&M since AU and UA is the #1 rivalry in CFB. You don't get that way by one side not caring.
