It is fascinating because Alabama has literally had lightening strike twice and landed the two best coaches of their generations.

Statistically speaking, it is HIGHLY unlikely this happens a third time.

That said, they have resources, tradition, zealots for fans and a recruiting base.

I think Bama probably steps back under any circumstance. How far back and who presides over it is the question.

I just cannot imagine them hiring someone with no HC experience getting the nod, unless he is the post Saban sacrificial lamb.

The way I see it, Saban is our 4th great coach.
