Imagine this- Alabama wins out, but....... Auburn plays them to the wire, and then Missouri also makes it a nail-biter at the end of the game with Alabama winning by less than a touchdown. If Oregon and Florida State both win the rest of their games in convincing fashion....... Viola- Alabama gets bumped to third and all the Alabama idiots that were ecstatic in 2004 when Auburn was left out of the NCG because of the close Iron Bowl that year, get to eat a big honkin' shitte sammich. Karma is a ruthless chef and she always insists on you having seconds. Bon appetit boys. ;-)

Solid first post.

Are you really an EOD guy, or just a really creative alter?

Bama gets in as long as they win out. By 1 point or 100 points it doesn't matter.

There is literally a zero percent chance of Alabama getting left out if we finish undefeated. Regardless of margin of victory or of what anyone else does.

I'm not sure karma can do anything to stop 3 out of 4. It's happened, it's in the books. Everything else is just gravy.

Bama is the defending champions. If they go unbeaten, regardless of schedule, we all know they're voted into the title game.

Well, In 2004, USC and Oklahoma held the 2 top spots all year, they didn't lose, so they didn't move. Big difference in Auburn's 2004 situation, and the one that Bama has....surely you realize this, but perhaps you don't.

So the fantasy of certain Auburn fans isn't that they beat Bama, it's that they...play tough and keep an undefeated Bama out of the title game?

That's kind of sad, actually. If I'm Auburn, I'd much rather just beat their asses and go to the SECCG. But, then, I'd have more faith in my team if we were in that situation.
