Alabama athletics made $143 million last year

And I bet Texas made more.

At the very least I bet Saban tests the waters to get a lot more from Bama. Texas has the money to get in a bidding war.

So does Bama.

Bet Bama is willing to pay more than Texas, though.

Bama won't get in a bidding war over this shite. They've already made Nick the highest paid coach in college football, expanded and renovated BDS, built a state of the art football facility, recruiting headquarters, fitness & nutrition center, and anything else he wanted. Money has never been an issue while Nick's been at Alabama.

He either wants to stay and continue his legacy at Bama, or he wants a new experience elsewhere. Money won't be what makes him go to another job, and money won't be what makes him stay put.
