He is horrible on GameDay and does Sports Center, now trying to get more "SEC" one of the local radio stations in mid MO bumped SVP and picked up this chuckle head. The other day I had to listen to Tammy babble for five minutes.

Not only did NOLA not pick up Finebaum, they just dropped ESPN radio all together, for NBC sports radio.
Just another reason to love this city.

The better question is how couldn't he blow up?

He's the best troll in a region inhabitated with eager, hungry fish; he exclusively covers the second most popular sports organization in the country; and he has great guests.

And please, you know you love the calls. It's the main reason we listen.

If you didn't turn the station then I have absolutely no sympathy for you.

Because people like you listen to him.

If Finebaum is so horrible then don't listen to him. Plain and simple. I haven't listened to his radio show in years. To be more specific I haven't listened to him since he jumped off the Auburn bandwagon in the Shula years over to the Alabama Bandwagon when Saban was hired. Even then I didn't listen to it much.

Really not that hard to figure out.

Finebaum had a very popular Birmingham radio show.He knows Slive the SEC commish and oftened dined with him in Birmingham.

PF paid many ESPN pundits to do his Birmingham show.

ESPN decides to hire PF and use him on its ESPN radio network and simulcast his show onto the SEC NETWORK in 2014.

ESPN has to make their new SEC network star a star, hence Sportcenter, Gameday, etc etc

Name another journalist/ radio personality who evokes raw emotions like Paul .

He's great and loves everything about college football.

So all you who don't like Paul, go yourselves.

ESPN reminds me of a drunken sailor on pay day. They threw away millions on the Longhorn Network and thousands on Finebaum.

What is next, Richard Simmons exercise videos?
