Not when looking at the results of a season, no it does not.

The better team doesn't always win. When this happens, sane people call it an "upset."

If it does prove that LSU is better, then it also proves that A&M was better than Alabama. Does it not?
Just answer that question and we can stop carrying on. Was A&M a better team than Alabama in 2012?
