You all threw principle out the window this offseason and put up with Johnny's antics, rallied behind him and buried your head in the sand.

It would all be worth it, you all said. This A&M team has a lot of momentum, a returning Heisman winner, and a favorable schedule. The ends would justify the means if A&M could go at least 11-1 and win the SEC, or get to a BCS game.

Instead, you are out of the SEC title hunt, likely out of the BCS hunt, and at best can have an 11-2 season equal to last year, without the win over the #1 team and probably without the Heisman winner too.

So was tolerating and even encouraging all the shenanigans in the offseason that flushed all the "honor code" A&M stands for down the toilet worth it for a season that did not live up to expectations and is a decline from last year?

We beat LSU and that's two years in a row we are a better team than the swamp kittens. Seems pretty good to me.

It doesn't affect me what he writes on twitter, what chicks he bangs, goes to 18+ casinos, or signs autographs to get Uncle Nate paid.

So yes, it was worth it because the cost was nothing.

Consecutive 11 win seasons in the SEC. That would put us in the company of:

Alabama
Florida
Georgia
South Carolina
Tennessee

There was a stat that every BCS National Champion has had at least 1 top 5 recruiting class. We will likely have one in 2014.

Let's see.

Rapings in Vandy.

Raping and fighting in LSU.

Bama coaches paying players and more.

JFF signing pictures.

One of these is not like the other.

What a whiny little bitch you are.

You could have saved yourself a lot of time and effort and just typed--"I'm mad" and it would have been just as effective.

Yes. When the new 2015 stadium opens built on the back of JFF and the last two seasons it will all be worth it.

Yep because he played for us. I laugh e every time I hear another fanbase talk like this knowing full well that y'all would be defending his every move if he was playing for your school. Your jelousy is fun to watch.

Just think, if A&M were still in the Big 12, they'd be reigning Big 12 & BCS Champs, would be undefeated, and looking to defend their title.

Haven't read the thread, but remember before 2012 A&M was told they would struggle to make a bowl game. Now they're looking at back-to-back 10-win seasons. I think they're Ok.

Stopped reading right there.
It's been a great season; and it's far from over.
I'm starting to see that my operational definition(s) of what makes college football great (i.e., tailgating, reconnecting with buddies, fall, hosting visitors, game day atmosphere, etc.) is/are very different than those of the average SEC college kid/fan.

Considering JFF is yet again the best player in the country and why we score more than 40 per game, the answer is obviously yes, it was clearly worth it.

Our defense has nothing to do with JFF's off season.
