Chef, I would have voted to hire Spurrier. I don't care what Kirby did a few years ago. So he leveraged GA. BFD. Just shows he is smart. Get over it. If he is the right guy, and I don't know if he is, pride is cold comfort for the shitty, annual Richt bed wetting. Don't believe me. Just ask the disneys, who have too much pride, redcoat aside, to admit their man's expiration date has passed.

I'm in favor of hiring a D1 coach who has proven he can win with less talent. And yes, they are out there.

Richt can be there to talk to parents about god and shite. Just stay away from aggressive play calling

You know I have thought this week about CMR as you look at his football career, it seems to be karma. His coaching career seems to follow his playing time as a QB. On the cusp of greatness but always overshadowed by a Marino, or a Kelly and now this. Did he club baby seals or steal from nuns at some point in his life? UGA has made him wealthy for sure but just when it seems he has put it together and there is perhaps a little destiny in the air--BOOM he loses half his offense. Oh and CTG has GOT to go!!! This is embarrassing.

Seriously, I have been on Richt's side every time his name gets thrown into the lions den. But, now i would have to say it is time for a change. Just look at what Al Golden has done in Miami with all the loss of scholarships and the mess. I would take an exchange of Golden for Richt right now and you know that Richt would love to Go coach were he went to school.

Last week people like myself were ridiculed for wanting to fire Grantham, now everyone is coming out of the woodwork to fire Richt.

I think it's a bunch of bullshite.

Nalley...that is a great idea. He might just bite on that too. Golden didn't come to mind as folks are playing "who else" but at this point, I think we need to start looking. Good man and has had a lot of success but should be doing better than this with the talent he's recruited.
