Left wing crazies and Right wing crazies are both equally bad.
JMO though left wing crazies are worse than the right. Given that you are from the delta I would more than likely say you are democrat so I won't go into this anymore with you.

Haven't read through this whole thread so SIAP.
The problem with the tea party is that their war is against Republicans, not democrats. Democrats have their nuts too, but do a good job of not airing their dirty laundry in public. For this reason, the tea party has done the Republicans much more harm than good.
Look at the shut down strategy for instance. They put the Republicans in a position from the beginning where there was a 0.000% chance of victory, but somehow we needed to make this statement that pissed off everyone but an extremely vocal minority. The only way to deal with Obamacare (if that is your goal) is to take the Senate and keep the House. However, the current actions of the tea party is ensuring that the Republicans fall even more into a minority. But hey, I guess that doesn't matter when you stand on principal....
