What I'm getting is that the BCS Playoff decision makers will not handcuff the committee into using some kind of system.

To me that is simply a way for the committee to justify anything that they do. One year they may lean on SOS. The next year they may lean on margin of victory. Then the year after that they may favor a mid major that is undefeated over a 1-loss SEC team simply because a mid major hasn't been to the title game in a while. To me this simply is bad for college football. Although I said that when they announced the 4 team playoff. Any playoff with less than 16 teams is a disservice to the sport IMO.

I can guarantee you we won't see 2 SEC teams in this thing for a while.....at least until enough people start howling which may or may not happen at least as it relates to the SEC.
