What do yall expects from dl and lb's vs LSU? Looks like Arkansas had success running the ball. Their rb's were averaging 4 yards per carry.

UGA shut down Hill, FLA will do the same.

I think Arkansas had like 80 rushing yards or something in the 1st quarter. Then the defense adjusted and they had like 35 the rest of the game.

Arkansas rushed for 81 yards and 1 TD in the first quarter, on 10 carries, averaging 8.1 YPC and shredding Florida.

The rest of the game?

19 carries, 30 yards for 1.6 YPC.

So yeah, Florida played a shitty first quarter. But Florida did't give up ANYTHING the rest of the game.

Our O-line has been pretty flaky. I'd love to see some more consistent 4 to 6 to 10 yard runs. But even if they stop us most of the time, Hill still has to bust a long one or two.

I too think LSU is gonna put up decent yardage on Florida. But Florida is going to be really stingy in the redzone, and they're not gonna give up many big plays of 40+ yds that other teams have given up so far.

Run D is pretty good but has taken a hit with Big E out.

LSU will get yards but they are going up and down the field on us.

If Georgia can control LSU's run game, so can Florida.

UF has fast LB's and an aggressive and physical defensive line.

Morrison, Powell, Ball, and Taylor have all been playing well at LB, and Fowler, Bullard, and Cummings have been very disruptive on the DL. Leon Orr might be one of the most athletic DT's in the conference and Jacobs has been pretty sturdy in the middle as well. I expect this will be the best front 7 that LSU has seen this year outside of UGA.

LSU had 77 yards rushing against UGA. If they can't rush for more than that against Florida, they will lose again.

This is an intresting matchup to say the least. CC has 15+ years NFL experience and has pretty much seen it all. It will be fun to watch the adjustments made by both sides. I think CC wins this battle in the end though

Florida will stop itself more than our D will. Now about the red zone, Hill and Hilliard are very dangerous around the goal line, especially Hill, he has very good vision and a nose for the end zone. We also have a very good offensive coordinator, QB, and a pair of very capable receivers. All these things make for a very good red zone team, see stats.
