If Emmert stays in office too much longer, Bama will bring down the NCAA by showing they are irrelevant just like they did the BCS. Then it will be an all out bidding war for recruits. Every D1 schools parking lot will be filled with Dodge Chargers and Yukons and every top recruits' HS HC will be a S&C coach at the school they sign with. Saban won't have an advantage and will retire and everyone but Bama fans will be happy.

That is what I think.
I mean it is not even a question anymore of whether or not bama is cheating on a large scale. At least MOST gumps have stoppped disputing that.
Kinda reminds me of the oversigning debate. At first their was denial. Then acceptance. Then who gives a frick, do something about it or get on board yourself.
That is about where we are in this one now, the who gives a frick, get on board.

I've always been curious about that myself. When AU had the pay for play going, I remeber some players not being too happy about their "pay".
I personally think it is a very uneven scale that does not even get talked about much between players. It is not like the University is giving out cars and cash. It is individual boosters and agents so it comes down to personal connections. If you are a high profile player, they seek you out. If not, you probably have to go looking and may or may not get your pocket lined.

Guess you do not realize that AU grads make more money starting out, mid-career, and throughout their career.
You lil fellers are sorta way behind if you want to compare cummulative wealth of both alumni bases as a whole.
Now granted gumps are probably more willing to give more because bama football is sorta all they are able to cling to in life, so you do have that "going for you".
