The winner of the LSU Florida game wins their division. Yes or no?

I say so. UGA may have used up their magic and UF will be favored to get them in Jax. I think if LSU can get past their toughest game to date they will have some serious mo and will be supremely confident the rest of the way.

Not really.

UF is undefeated in SEC play and LSU already has one loss.

Game really means more to LSU at this point. Another SEC loss for LSU, and that probably seals Bama going to ATL.

Not so...we haven't lost in SEC yet and a lost to a west team isn't a deal breaker...we can win out and still go to Hotlanta. Your backs are to the wall and that worries me...lose and your done.

No. It's going to be really hard for LSU to win the west.

Not at all.

LSU could easily beat UF and lose to A&M or Alabama.

UF could easily beat LSU and lose to UGA or SCar.

I think the Florida fans in this thread are confused.

The only thing this game truly assures, is that the loser has no shot of getting to the NCG (not that UF had a great chance to begin with, especially after losing to Miami early along with the injuries).

The fact that Alabama and Florida both play them later on makes that game virtually pointless

Not really.

For LSU, this game is an elimination game; winning it only helps us win the division in the sense that it doesn't knock us out of the race.

For Florida, the division is still going to come down to the Georgia contest and avoiding the upset from South Carolina and Missouri, win or lose.

Maybe.

Loser?
Almost assuredly not.

UF controls their ATL invite still, even with a loss.
LSU cannot lose any conference game at this point.

We still have UGA, and you guys are still at @Bama. However, it's still a huge game, and you are correct about a boost of confidence. The Missouri game for FL next week, might be an interesting East matchup, though (and especially if they get past UGA, which I highly doubt will be the case.

If UF wins then it won't matter if LSU beats Bama. Far more on the line for LSU.
