If you're a fan of a team like USC, Auburn, Miss St and so forth, how much of an importance do you place on the Sugar Bowl? For teams that are in the upper echelon of the SEC, do you view it as consolation prize if you don't get to the title game or win the SEC? For LSU fans, does this have a special meaning to you since it's played in NOLA? Just curious....

With Florida, I was a little disappointed with SB in 09 considering we were undefeated until SECCG. I actually was glad UF got to go to the Sugar bowl last year (considering how shitty 2010-11 were), but the final score sucked, obviously.

Disappointed with going to the Sugar Bowl or losing to Bama in the SEC championship game? I bet you Georgia fans wish they could have went to the Sugar Bowl last year after losing to Bama. Of course the BCS polls weren't in their favor then.

Would have been nice for them to actually show up and play. Have to listen to UL fans rave about beating UF all the time now...
