I went and looked him up on 247 and one thing puzzles me...why was Nussmeier his lead recruiter? The lead for Auburn was, logically-enough, Harbison, their co-DC. I could see Nussmeier being put to the job if he had local connections or something, but he doesn't even have that.

The area recruiter for central Alabama has been the OL coach in the past. I thought Mario Cristobal was too. I guess not. Though sometimes the point guy for a particular recruit isn't necessarily assigned due to it being their region or position.

Okay. It's a bit odd, but given he was successful in getting the commit, I have absolutely no basis for criticism.

Cristobal is/was a helluva recruiter. I have my doubts about his o-line coaching, but I'm sure Saban has been putting him where he can be the most help.
