If the Bama OL still sucks by the end of the year should Cristobal be fired?

I get that we have 3 new starters, but Cristobal also has some of the best raw talent in the nation to work with and develop. Even with inexperience, Alabama should never have an entire unit that is one of the worst in the SEC. Too much talent on campus for that to happen. We seemed to get more physical last night, but that was Ole Miss. I'm especially concerned by the constant drive killing false starts, holds, etc. We have always had a very well coached and disciplined OL.

I tend to get the impression that Cristobal has not really mentally moved on from being one of the best up and coming HC's in America. Is he mentally committed to the job of OL coach only a few years after being mentioned for HC openings at power programs?

Yeah, besides the fact that he doesn't.

Our defensive line isn't chopped liver you know. Isn't Cristobal recruiting his tits off? Do you want to fire him before NSD and potentially lose so guys he's in on?

He'll move on and take a better job at the end of the year whether the OL still sucks or not.

Steen was out last week, starting C went out yesterday. He's doing OK.

This is what confuses me. Bama brings in a new OL coach and picks the top OL prospect out of LA (that's Louisiana for you Gumps - not Lower Alabama...) who is a lifelong Tiger Fan and dreamed of playing for the Tigers since elem school. He cited his newfound relationship with Cristobal as one of the leading reasons. Guy could make a fortune in the used car and insurance business with a sales talent like that.

This would be incredibly stupid for two reasons:

1) He just got hired.
2) The recruiting class, at offensive line, would likely fall apart.

I don't know about him but I'm hearing the shite is about to hit the fan with that Siskey guy. I'm pretty sure he is being let go. There is probably nothing that can be done to bama but it is really embarrassing.

Head coach who was fired only to become an OL coach who proceed to be fired as an OL coach? Damn, talk about your falls.

Cristobal is a good coach and it makes absolutely no sense to fire a position coach (with the obvious exceptions) in his first season. I think Bama fans need to come to grips with what you have on that line and that maybe it's not as good as you've had the past couple seasons.
