It's stupid to say that OM's WRs are better than TAMU's. We have one guy who's better than your entire corps combined.

The comment is especially stupid when said in response to a question that simply asks how OM's offense sacks up against BAMA's D. There were a million different acceptable ways to answer that question. Bo instead decided to force the stupid comment into his response.

You're acting like what he said was the natural answer. He's now eating his words, which was inevitable.

Do us all a favor and watch the video of him answering the question: https://www.clarionledger.com/article/20130924/SPORTS030103/309240044/Bold-Bo-Ole-Miss-QB-says-Rebs-can-put-points-No-1-Alabama?gcheck=1
VIDEO

The reporter EXPLICITLY ASKED HIM ABOUT TEXAS A&M. The question was "when you look at what Texas A&M was able to do...what did they do to exploit Alabama's defense?" The answer to the question was completely in context. He said "I don't run around like Johnny" and said that he can't do what Manziel does, but he said that he thinks his receivers are better than A&M's.

You're free to disagree with his opinion about his wide receivers. I don't give a shite if you agree or disagree or whatever, because that's beside the point.

He didn't shoehorn A&M in there. He didn't talk shite about A&M. He didn't bring up A&M for no reason. He was asked a goddamn question and he answered it.

I could see how, without any context, people could think he was being cocky or trying to start something, but in context you'll see that what he said was completely innocuous.
