I have no idea if he's turned a corner or just happened to string together 3 good kicks but I'm happy for the embattled senior.

Yeah, he was phenomenal tonight. I really hope this is some sort of permanent change in him. H'es always been able to kick it a mile, but he just had no control. That 53 yarder was virtually down the middle. It would have been good from even a few yards back. He keeps this up and he'll be playing on Sundays.

Is this where I eat my crow? I said in the other thread that I didn't want to see Cade Foster in any game changing situation. Well, though it wasn't a last minute field goal or anything, he had to keep our team afloat while we sputtered on offense. He did well.

to you Cade Foster (at least this week)

I still can't watch him get a field goal. I'm always surprised when it goes in.

I hope he has turned the corner. It was kinda funny listening to the "what the hell" comments in stadium on the long field goal attempt/make.

Like just about everything else related to football, most fans overreacted to Cade's "struggles" the past couple of years. No kicker who only kicks from 45+ yards is going to have a great average.
