You really need to let this band thing go....

We really don't care about your band....why? Because we aren't aTm fans....This isn't College Station....

It's not a shame at all...if anyone wants to see your band, they can google search them...it will take just a few seconds

Springdale hates everything.

You know the old guard in that town is not happy with the recent influx of people.

Away game Yell is almost always held in a parking lot.
I can't think of a time when it was ever held in a stadium.
Good stuff.

Did we really expect hospitality from Arky fans? They are the Tech fans of the SEC.

You're reading too much into it

All military and former military bash officers. Officers bash each other. It's kind of a culture thing (like complaining about your boss in the civilian world). Many officers/enlisted leaders deserve it, many don't.

I've had good leaders and bad ones and they all get bashed. Just part of the military.

Those who can be or are forced to play the role of bullet stoppers are always gonna bash the officer that tells them to do their best human target impression whether he's a commissioned officer, warrant, or Sgt. REMFs are always gonna bash those who assign them to latrine duty and other 'useless' duties. True infantry will always bash all others including more frontline support roles even if support brags about seeing some action and true infantry doesn't give a shite what branch others come from.·I agree it's just the way it is.

Stick around on here awhile and you'll learn that the college team logo a poster displays doesn't necessarily match the team they support. It's a rant thing.

I can't tell you whether our band travels to away games or not. I. Don't. Care.

Just as an FYI, I talked to a BQ buddy tonight to make sure I had this straight. Back when men were men and dinosaurs roamed the Earth (1975), the Aggie band marched at Arkansas, and again in 1977. They did not play at some HS game as a previous Ark. fan implied - at least not back then. And Arkansas' band traveled to and marched in Kyle Field in '76 and '78. BQ buddy's recollection is very believable as he was shown on TV after the game punching an Ark. fan who had been throwing stadium seats at the band down below, and he had had enough of it. His father called him and said he saw him on TV. He "sat" three weekends for it and believes it was worth it - sitting a weekend Corps guys know about. I sat plenty myself and will spare the details, but it is definitely not a fun experience. In Aggie-speak his sacrifice is called "good bull"

Personally I don't really care (though I've posted about it plenty). I just think it's a shame. Neither team will be at home for this game for the next 10 years. Seems like a really good time for Arkansas fans to see the Aggie band, and no offense, but your school blew it.
