What is there outside of physicality, agility, speed, timing, and hands. Seems like it would be the easiest to evauate. Definitely one of the least cerebral. WRs as a whole seem to be the dumbest corp on the field normaly

Route running, chemistry with the QB, ball security, understanding the plays, blocking ability, etc...

Again, i cant see how its a difficult position to evaluate. And up until this past year, i followed recruiting as much as most. Seemed we didnt even extend offers out there for the handful of 5* guys in the region. Not even obligitory offers like most. Just gives the impression that its an undervalued position

I will add one more, arrogance. They think they can just run by everyone like in HS ball only to find out 8 other dudes on the field are capable of chasing him down at any time (assuming no DL is running a sub 4.5)

Obviously AJ was our biggest catch in some time at WR but still Marlon Brown was a 5 star and was the last pure WR we recruited who was truly elite. Money Mitch 26 was listed as an athlete by the majority of the services if I am not mistaken.

I will take the Connelys, Bennetts, and Durhams all day every day.
