As an Alabama alumni who proudly sat in the student section for every game, no matter the weather, from kickoff to the final whistle, I can say that Alabama has one of the worst student sections in the entire country.
Oddly enough winning has made it worse.
They are spoiled, entitled, find the games boring, assume it will be a win, only get excited for SEC/BCS title games, etc.

Have you seen our home schedule the past few years? Most of those games were boring.

One of the most fun nights of my life was in the student section for the 94 UGA game.
