Auburn beat MSU and was -3 in the turnover margin. Play the game again tomorrow and we win more handily.

Why do LSU fans keep saying that LSU played conservative in the second half?

Because the sequence LSU ran after the on-side kick was overturned was inexcusably bad.

Otherwise it wasn't bad at all. LSU was conservative and bleeding clock in the second half, but after the first two AU TD's, LSU put together fantastic drives to keep them at arm's length.

The last 8 or so minutes were still pretty terrible.

ETA: Auburn isn't what I would call good. They just aren't the dumpster fire that they were a year ago, a 7-5 bowl team. Also the HUNH is hell on wheels to stop when the playcaller gets in the position that they know they're going for every 4th down.

Doubtful. After all, Mississippi State beat Troy 62-7.

Auburn would be prepared for Dak this time and shite him out shut like the second half. We spent the whole week preparing for Tyler Russell last time

Negatigers need to go and understand football better and what LSU's coaching staff was trying to achieve. There were reasons we played conservative on both sides of the ball that negatigers dont understand.

Damn, OP being a pussy tonight.
We let off the gas cause we could. Game was over. No point in wasting your good plays on only decent teams.

And we ran the ball down their throats all night. In fact, the entire first half, we ran I formation, single wr. Auburn knew they were running the ball, the fans knew LSU was running the ball, even mike the tiger knew, but Auburn still couldn't stop it.

AU does just fine. It's all fluid. At the very least, they're capable of undefeated seasons just about every decade. AU just doesn't have the luck of 2 loss championships, but such is life.

Auburn is inherently a meh football team, because they're Auburn.
