I bet they would go after miles at least a little. Laugh all you want, but m not joking and bama fans know I'm right.

Miles turned down Michigan, he aint leaving LSU.

I'm thinking Charlie Strong. They have very likely losses still to OU, OSU, TT and Baylor. I don't see how he keeps his job. Firing everyone except him has already been tried.

I like Miles' whole persona and all at LSU, but he's not the type of coach that Alabama would pursue in the highly unlikely event that Saban left.

I think with Saban, Alabama has found the type of coach that suits their program best. A disciplinarian, a details guy, and a relentless recruiter. Miles is a great recruiter, but he's a little bit more of a free spirit when it comes to the other two. He's a great foil for Saban, and I've really enjoyed the past few years of these two personalities facing off every November, but I could never see him coaching Bama.

IMO Kirby Smart, David Shaw, Jimbo Fisher, or maybe even a guy like Jim Mora.
