Yes, they have a two QB system. Pachall is the pro-style passer and Boykin is the so-called "double threat" read-option guy. The problem is that Boykin isn't really a double threat because he can't pass very well. That's why Pachall is the starter and they use Boykin as a change of pace. He can come in and do something in that role, but he can't carry the offense for the whole game. This is exactly what happened last year. With Pachall, they were cruising along at 4-0. Then they lost him to a DUI, and with Boykin trying to carry the whole load, limped to a 7-6 finish.
