I agree completely. Baseball needs more money from outside sources, so it is possible to increase scholarships. Interest is growing, but we need more. We need more fans in the seats, and more eyeballs on TV to increase TV contracts.

TV is going to increase soon, it shouldn't hurt attendance as baseball is a different sport to watch in person vs on TV. There is so much of the game to watch away from the ball vs football/basketball.

College Baseball also has the problem of competing with other college sports, it starts during the prime of basketball while also having to go against spring football. However, it is all by itself for the post season.
