Heard the guy that did the story on the radio yesterday. He said the would not cooperate with the NCAA, that they would have to investigate it themselves. Good luck with that.
Can you blame him? He handed the Miami case to the NCAA on a silver platter and look what happened. They fricked everything up and are in year 3 of an investigation that should have been a open and closed case. The entire block that housed those documents would burn to the ground mysteriously if handed over to the NCAA.

None. AU, Oregon, LSU, OK State, and aTm (JFF, rather) have provided the blueprints to just blow off the NCAA. The big5 or big6 conferences are forming their own league in a few years anyhow.

Really dude. Pitiful.

Fluker said in April that someone had hacked his account.
I love it. I remember all the dumbass gumps saying Julio, Trent, and Ingram paid for their 30 suits and multiple $30k rides with pell grant money.
Fact is paying players is systematic at bama at every step of the process and has been forever. When they are recruited. Their families. Their girlfriends. Cars, house sitting, new jobs, family relocations, the suits, the expensive dinners, the plane tickets, the furniture, the straight cash, it goes on and on.
Bama players are the best compensated in the country.
It is not coming from the coaching staff. They of course know (sorta obvious), but they make sure the players and no one else tells them so they can turn a blind eye.
Now, will all this get bama in trouble right now?
Since it does not involve the coaches or university, it may only be a slap on the wrist. Like 2 year probation and a few lost schollys. Dunno though since it is high profile, is a good deal of money, and would embolden agents and boosters if nothing much happened.

What about AU? Cam, HBO 4, Pat Dye, hell even Shug Jordan's title was during a bowl ban season for paying players

10-15 years ago I would have been freaking out about this news. Now I know all that Bama needs to do is Lawyer Up! The NCAA has its hands so full right now with lawsuits and trying to keep the organization together and relevent.

Cam?

Probably did get some cash. They claimed it was a few hundred here and there. Drop in the bucket in comparision.

Pat Dye
Yep. Players got paid under Dye. Still the amounts were paltry. At the end of the day Ramsey got a couple of thousand and some steaks.

Wrong. And if you know the story behind that probation, it was bama assistant coaches that were behind it when they lost out on a qb recruit.
