I think it really will comes down to Davis and what he is willing to share. Every comment by the agents was in response to questions regarding information Yahoo already had. They defended their role. Meaning Yahoo had all this info and the only way Yahoo could get any of these records is from Davis. He is the smoking gun in my opinion and will determine how far this will go.

agreed.

I'm not sure of the timeline regarding the tweet from Fluker about being/getting paid or even the whole story there. But I wonder if maybe Fluker "played" Davis (thus the fluker tweet)and Davis is seeking to even the score?

I am guessing I am the only one who has zero fricks to give about this story of the week. This is not going to go anywhere because the guy connected wasn't a known booster for the program but a rogue individual trying to profit for his own well being instead of the programs. Where this differs in the USC deal is that the NCAA was looking for any way to hammer that program because of the way Pete Carrol ran his program. His program was completely open to the Hollywood public, which was done so for recruiting purposes and of course these Hollywood personas gave money to the student athletes. The major differences are as follows, this was an on going process, the university did nothing to solve it(and really promoted it), this was something that was beneficial to the football program/ university not just an individual. Basically its akin to getting Al Capone on tax evasion bc you couldn't get him on the hard evidence for his actual crimes.
