A girl I went to high school with was a hostess at Bama too for a little while... After she graduated from down there she started dating a starting linebacker in the NFL... Got to think they meet while she was a hotess.

Of all the accusations leveled, this one about the hostesses really doesn't bother me. Like the others said, the hostesses seek these jobs out, they aren't solicited or pressured into it. There's clear and informed consent and everyone is better off for it. Who gives a shite?

After watching "the Sessions" last night, I am sure they convinced them that it's not prostitution and they are doing a service for humanity.

Yeah, I am sure she was going to the other poster all about getting turned out by some 17-18 year old kids from the hood, just so they'd come play football. Girls are super chatty about that kind of thing.

Also, how has nobody asked what job one needs to acquire to be the guy that interviews for this job? That is clearly the most important question in this situation.

Exactly the point. Then why is the university held accountable for something they have no way of controlling.
The NCAA should abolish the whole hostess concept for all universities.
