They were kicked out of their house at that time because of fire code violations. They failed a surprise inspection and had to vacate the house until money was raised and repairs were done.
The Santa stories are all BS but they sound good.

One story I don't mind telling that I think is just funny....
When my brother was pledging, one night one of the brothers called all the pledges over to his house like at 3 in the morning I think?
He sat on the couch and lined all but one of them behind him, with the one sitting beside him on the couch. Then, he turned on halo and put it on mute and made all the pledges do the intro song and sound effects for the game. Then he made the pledge sitting beside him play against him, but he wasn't allowed to shoot or move. Then he would kill him and tell the pledge that he sucks and make fun of him.

I don't want to say only because idk who all is lurking and I don't want to give it away, but it wasn't all that long ago.
But there were always a few funny stories, but I think the worst part for them during the hazing was the mental aspect. Its like they knew all their worst fears and biggest insecurities and tore them apart.
