what would he gain by going to texas, considering he's won 3 out of 4 at bama? that might just confuse some recruits who aren't exactly scholars. LOL

Saban's not suave enough for Texas, too focused, structured and intense. Texas wouldn't know what hit them.

They just will never turn over the entire program to any coach.
Saban demands complete control. Texas will not go quite that far, and Bama+REC have more power in the spots needed to control college football.
Saban was moved to Miami by the REC once he demonstrated his ability.
Miami has always been a pawn for the REC going back to the CPBB days. He also used them as leverage.
