I said it a couple times in the game thread, but that crowd seemed loud as hell for an off campus game against an FCS school that was beating your team.

I'm not talking shite, but I was impressed. I expected it to be a graveyard when I tuned in to see the potential loss.

Here's the deal.

WMS is old and needs a lot of work to favorably compare to all the modern stadiums built or upgraded in the past 20 years. This is an especially big deal in the SEC, where stadium fanaticism has just become silly. Most, if not all, of the games should all be played in Fayetteville, since there's not many good reasons left for playing them in Little Rock.

However, the elitist hillbillies in NWA (yes, I'm serious) are trying to make it a regional war within the state that the university represents. So, they make up stuff to paint the rest of the state in a bad light, but especially central Arkansas and Little Rock. They even boycott games in LR, so they can say that games never sell out there, even though they always did before, and even though they never have regularly in Fayetteville. Basically, they pretend to be elitist and act like idiots, while failing to support their university and their state.

But even if WMS sells out, it's still 20,000 less people than in DWRRS.

Still doesn't change the fact that's it completely retarded to have two stadiums

lol@elitist hillbillies

They think LR is more dangerous than Syria. It cracks me up.
