Kaiser, I have a feeling that Perry won't have much authority in that regard after January 2015 as he will no longer be governor

If we wanted to dip out of the Big 12 we could. Texas could have gone to the PAC 12 a few years ago. And the SEC would much rather have us than you guys.

The only way the SEC would ever expand to 16 teams is if they brought in programs that would bring in a lot more revenue than they would take from the pot. Oklahoma and Texas are two such schools.
