I think that everyone forgets how valuable an education/room&board/meals/tutoring/spending money/etc. really is. They do get paid. A lot. Just because they aren't being paid in cash doesn't mean they aren't being fully compensated...and then some.

Just ask anyone who is still paying off their student loans. I'm sure any of them would've been willing to go for free in trade for playing some sports.

What if the players couldn't have access to their "earnings" until after they graduate or leave school? The integrity of college football would still be intact and the players would have an insurance policy if they were to get hurt.
